Dr Neena Joseph is an Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist offering private psychiatric care in Adelaide. She is currently employed as a Consultant Psychiatrist with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. She has more than 20 years of international clinical experience, including almost 10 years with Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services in New Zealand. Her practice focuses on comprehensive assessment, evidence-based treatment, and collaborative care for adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
Dr Joseph assesses and treats depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and other complex psychiatric presentations. She develops personalised treatment plans grounded in current evidence, with an emphasis on recovery, functional improvement, and continuity of care.
Dr Joseph works closely with general practitioners, supporting coordinated care around each patient’s needs. Dr Joseph also maintains a strong interest in neuroscience, digital psychiatry, and contemporary developments in mental health care.
Dr Joseph has held an Honorary Academic appointment at the University of Auckland. She has been a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the United Kingdom since 2006, became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2009, and obtained certification in Forensic Psychiatry in 2015.

- At Health on Henley, Dr Joseph conducts one-off assessments for individuals with mild to moderately severe mental illness who present a low risk to themselves and others, and who are suitable for management in primary care or community-based private practice settings.
